About Me
What I do, who I am and what are my core values. These are the things that have kept me successful over the years and continue to inspire and drive me further.
What I Do
Since I graduated with a degree in Multimedia back in 1998, I have been building dynamic user experiences using any available technologies that were available at the time. Early on that was Javascript, HTML and Flash. Later I used video, CSS, PHP, Java, Flex, Python, jQuery and eventually Scaleform to build User Interfaces for the Unreal Engine to make in-game Heads-up Displays, reticules, menus and lobbies. I started with a degree in Multimedia/Graphic Design and quickly moved onto the Internet and started teaching myself the code I would need to see my ideas come to life. I have always felt at home on the web, I love the digital design world, the evolving user experiences, the social media and online communities. It has been a thrill to watch myself and the technology evolve these last 15 years. I love doing what I do.
Who I Am
I am a married, 36 year old father of two busy little girls and two very needy Boston Terriers. For fun I like to hike in the North Georgia mountains, kayak in the Chattahoochee River, paint Warhammer 40k Miniatures, play PC games and do tabletop board gaming with my friends. I tend to make a lot of memes for my friends and spend a good amount of my downtime on youtube watching independent short films and bad voice overdubs.
